Rodeo...In the Mall?

Yes, Guys and Gals there were Cowgirls at the Clackamas Town Center!
The North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce gave me the opportunity to have a booth at their Business Expo in March. I couldn't pass up an opportunity to promote my favorite sport, talk to people and of course rope! So I decided to call on a couple of my favorite cowgirls so they could promote their rodeo and the sport as well! These are a few pictures of what we did and how much fun we had...
Whoooo Wheee I roped my self a rowdy bunch of cowgirls! The St. Paul Rodeo Court! I had so much fun with you ladies!
Everyone wants to rope!
A booth filled with rodeo coloring sheets, bumper stickers, pens, calenders, autograph sheets and flyers all on rodeo! And maybe a little candy too!
One of my favorite flyers was a sheet called "keepin' it local" It was a schedule of all the Rodeos that are in the Columbia River Circuit. Since we are going through tough economic times families are looking for something fun to do close to home. Not everyone can afford an out of state vacation. This "keepin' it local" flyer helped us promote the Columbia River Circuit, the PRCA, and good family fun! Rodeo!

We had crowds lining the top deck of the mall looking down at all the rodeo action. Lacy's Mom had to squeeze in to get the perfect picture! Thanks for your help girls!

You can never start them too young!

Santiam Canyon Stampede Queen Kami shows Zac how to rope!

Out for a little shopping, why not stop by and throw at the roping dummy! My Friend Lacy Martin!

Whoooo Hooo Lets Rope! This little girl kept coming back for more after she got her basic swing down. She's hooked and said she would be coming to a rodeo this summer!
Me, Queen Becca (Canby), and Queen Kami (Santiam)

I just want to Thank the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce, Wilda Parks, Susan Pollen, and Paul DeMarco at the Clackamas Town Center for making this weekend possible! I also want to thank the St. Paul Rodeo Court- Queen Kimmie Earnst, Princess Ashley Faults, and Princess Nicole Bruntz. The Clackamas County Fair and Canby Rodeo- Queen Becca Thompson. The Molalla Buckaroo- Princess Lacy Osterman. And The Santiam Canyon Stampede- Queen Kami Smith. Thank you ladies for your help, you made this weekend run smooth when we had so many people asking about rodeo and wanting to learn to rope! Plus who can resist a pretty cowgirl!
Oregon Rodeo is here! The sun is shining and memories are coming! I look forward to seeing you all down the rodeo road!
